Coal Handling and Wash Plants

Consulmet can provide a complete turnkey coal handling and wash plant for capacities up to 1,000 tph.  All plants are designed and fabricated to the stringent standards of the Australian coal industry.  Our coal wash plants incorporate:

• Mid-size circuits (spirals and elutriators/teetered bed separators)

• Flotation circuits

• The Consulmet-MPTeq range of high-rate thickeners and filter press plants.

Coal Filter Press Plants

The Consulmet-MPteq range of fully automatic coal filter press plants provides efficient dewatering for head feeds up to 500 tph.

Mineral Sands Plants

Consulmet has designed and built HMS plants for zircon, rutile and ilmenite in Australia and Africa.  Our dry and wet separators use tried and proven technologies, including spirals, magnetic separators (LIMS and WHIMS) and shaking tables. We have considerable experience in the front end design of mineral sands plants for high clay ores.

Nkomati Mine, South Africa - Upgrade of an existing 150 tph anthracite coal wash plant.

Delmas, South Africa - Design and construction of two 40 tph spiral plants for Exxaro Coal.

2016

Boabab, Senegal - Design and construction of a 168 tph phosphate beneficiation plant (including fifteen Derrick Ultra Fines screens) for Gadde Bissik Phosphates and Senegal Phosphate.

2015

Delmas, South Africa - Design and construction of a 450 tph coal wash plant for Stuart Coal.

2014

Urquhart Point, Queensland - Design and construction of a complete mineral sands plant.

2012

• Lanti Mine, Sierra Leone - Design and construction of a 500 tph mineral sands plant (including two 250 tph wash plants) for Sierra Rutile Limited (Iluka).

• Mindarie Mine, South Australia - Design and construction of a 600 tph mineral sands in-pit screening module for Murray Zircon.
