Phase 1 (500 tph) flowsheet:

• 1,500 tph feed circuit for hard rock kimberlite (a first on kimberlite ore), including a 1,500 tph ThyssenKrupp eccentric rolls crusher (ERC)

• 500 tph autogenous mill

• 120 tph gravity-fed DMS plant

• 3 x TOMRA XRT units (provision for 9 units in total)

• Fines X-Ray units

• Unique to the project is a 50 m diameter, inner-driven, deep-cone concrete thickener, complete with a customised reagent facility.

Key facts:

• 4,000 tonnes of structural steel and platework plus mechanical equipment

• 12,000 m3 of reinforced concrete

• 550 pax installation crew.
