Client: RZM Murowa (owned by Rio Tinto until 2015)

Since 2004, Consulmet has completed various design and construction projects at the Murowa Diamond Mine for RZM Murowa and the previous owners, Rio Tinto.

RZM Murowa

• Design and construction of a complete 500 tph kimberlite diamond processing plant.  The flowsheet includes a four-stage crushing circuit, scrubbing module, coarse XRT circuit, three (3) x 200 tph DMS modules, final recovery (Debtech units), and a watery recovery circuit.

Rio Tinto

• 200 tph  Primary (jaw), secondary and tertiary (cone) crushing plant.

• 50 tph DMS installation.

• Scrubber upgrade to increase washing efficiency and avoid need for a DMS upgrade.

• Slimes pumping automation and redesign.

• SCADA installation.
