Consulmet has considerable expertise in the design and operation of beneficiation plants for hematite and magnetite ores in Australia and Africa. We can design and build a process flowsheet to ensure maximum upgrade of your iron ore.
Core Technologies
Ore-Sorting
Our team are world experts in XRT sorting plants. We have designed, built and operated dozens of XRT plants. Consulmet can provide an ore-sorting solution to pre-concentrate ores and remove contaminants such as mafic ahead of further concentration by DMS or flotation.
DMS Pre-Concentration & Beneficiation
Consulmet has designed, built, operated and maintained DMS beneficiation plants for iron ore. Our DMS pre-concentrators are offered as complete turnkey solutions or can be integrated into a project flowsheet.

Spiral Concentrators
Consulmet has developed in-house standard designs for single and multi-stage spiral circuits (currently up to seven stages) to concentrate various metals, including copper and iron ore.
Materials Handling
Consulmet's material handling expertise has been gained on numerous global projects for different commodities. We have designed and built conveyor systems up to 1,500 tph capacity and have developed a range of standard, interchangeable conveyor modules for rapid deployment. Consulmet has particular expertise in the handling of sticky, high-clay ores.
